Yes, the SBAC is over for most of you. But wait, we still have another big test!

"The Math Diagnostic Testing Project" test will be administered to all 7th graders.

This test will be used to determine your math class assignment for 8th grade.

Please do you best.

IT IS A TIMED TEST: You will have ONLY 45 minutes to complete this test.
NO CALCULATORS, COMPUTERS, or CELL PHONES,

Early finishers may work on Word Search.

You will need a #2 pencil.

Do not mark the Question Booklet.

Only bubble in the bubbles. No extra marks on the paper.

Only one answer per question.

Do calculations on SCRATCH PAPER.

Tomorrow we start SBAC.

Important Testing Info:
  • PLEASE HAVE A READING  BOOK FOR AFTER THE TEST.
  • NO COMPUTER USE AFTER THE TEST.
  • PHONES TO BE PUT IN BACKPACKS DURING THE TEST. BACKPACKS WILL BE PLACED ALONG THE WALL.
Let's talk about Good Habits for Test Taking.
  • Get to bed on time. Don't stay up texting or playing games on your phone all night.
  • Eat breakfast. Not donuts or sugar cereal. Protein like eggs is good.
  • I will have snacks for you but you can bring your own too. You can bring gum but spit it out before you leave the testing classroom.
  • Go to the restroom before the test!
  • Relax.
  • Take Your Time.
  • Read Carefully and Use The Highlighter.
  • Read Twice.
  • Mark the ones you don't know and come back.
  • Look at ALL choices before you decide. There may be MORE THAN ONE CORRECT ANSWER.
  • Look at pictures and diagrams.
  • Go back and check your work even if you are tired of test taking.
  • Do Your Best.

Today, let's take a look at some of the Interim questions to get ideas on what could be on the test and to see if we have any questions.

Then we will play Password Math Vocab for the second part of class.
